Speaker's Bureau

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) Speaker’s Bureau is a program run by the Authority’s Office of Communications that aims to educate and inform the public about the California High-Speed Rail program. The Bureau is made up of Authority representatives and individuals that are available to speak to your group, organization, association or industry to provide an overview of statewide high-speed rail program, or focus on individual project topics ranging from planning to environmental to engineering to construction to business opportunities.

To request a speaker, the Authority must receive a completed Speaker Request Form, at least four (4) to six (6) weeks in advance. The form, available below, will ask you for basic information about the event (date, time, location audience, topic, etc.) that will be needed to process your request. While the form asks for a specific date and topic, flexibility helps immensely in securing an Authority speaker.

If you already know who from the Authority you wish to present, please feel free to include that information. If you do not know who to request the Bureau staff will work with you on potential speaker options. Although your preferred speaker may not be available, the Authority will work with you to get the appropriate speaker for your event.

Please complete the Online Speaker Request Form. Your request will be forwarded for consideration and Authority staff will contact you shortly.

You can also print and mail a Speaker's Request Form and/or hand-deliver the form to:
Speaker’s Bureau
California High-Speed Rail Authority
770 L Street, Suite 1160
Sacramento, CA 95814

Completed forms may also be sent via email to speakerrequest@hsr.ca.gov.

Once your request has been submitted and reviewed, the Authority will contact you with a determination regarding whether the speaker is available. We cannot guarantee that all requests will be filled.

We look forward to working with you and providing your organization and group with information about the high-speed rail program.
