Partnerships

As part of California’s commitment to bring the most cost-effective and technologically advanced transportation system possible to the Golden State, the California High-Speed Rail Authority has partnered with a variety of entities throughout the world, as well as with regional agencies within California, resulting in an unprecedented collection of shared knowledge by experts in high-speed train planning, construction and operations.

This expertise includes information on design, technical standards, procurement methods, funding options, operation and maintenance of high-speed rail transportation systems, as well as help in the preparation of technical studies, Environmental Impact Statements and reports and more. These partnerships will help focus and align local, regional and state goals in a collaborative process.

California is not building its high-speed train system alone, but with the benefit of the expertise of those around the world who have decades of experience with high-speed rail.
